Age 17

Saffie is from Bo, Sierra Leone. After both of her parents died, she went to live with her grandfather. He was unable to care for Saffie and her condition was getting deplorable. Then, she was referred to our care.

Saffie is in the 7th grade at QRS and her favorite subject in school is reading. Her best friend is Seibatu. They both live at the Link House and they enjoy playing the local game "stone ball" together.

Saffie is described to be a "girls just wanna have fun" girl. She's very positive, has lots of energy, and always wants to show affection toward the people she loves. Saffie is a fun dancer and loves tribal dancing.

Saffie is a Christian and was baptized in April of 2019. Her favorite verse is Luke 1:78 which says, "Because of God's tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us."

Saffie wants to be a nurse when she is older. We love Saffie and the way she keeps us having fun!
