Age 15

Fatmata is 12 years old and is in the 5th grade at Carl Maria Primary School, where Uncle Moses is her favorite teacher. In school, Fatmata's best friend is Elizabeth. She loves studying Creative Practical Arts. On the weekends, she listens to lots of music, but gospel is her favorite genre. 

Fatmata knows the Bible, and her favorite story is the Birth of Christ, and John 1:1 is her favorite verse. It says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Fatmata loves playing a local game called “stopper" with all of her friends. Her dream is to become a teacher one day and help others. Famata is unfortunately diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia, which we are constantly treating. Despite her daily battle with her disease, she is gentle, kind and loving to everyone she encounters.
