Age 18

Baindu is from Bo, Southern Sierra Leone. She was referred to our care after she was sent to be married off at just 12 years old.

She is in the 6th grade at Carl Maria Primary School, where her favorite teacher is Mr. Kamara and her very best friend is Safie M. Her and Safie both live at the Link House.

Baindu is one of the natural leaders in the Link House. She loves guiding the girls and leading worship in church and at the home. Baindu is a Christian. Her favorite biblical story is about the Good Samaritan and John 3:16 is her favorite verse. She has the most scripture memorized out of all the Princess Promise girls and most recently recited the entire Sermon on the Mount for our team!

Baindu wants to be a nurse one day with the desire to serve within a Christian organization. Her favorite color is yellow. When she is not in school, she enjoys cooking and studying on the weekends. Her favorite game is a local game called stone-ball and she also enjoys soccer.
