Age 10

Aminata is 10 years old and has a smile that will light up any room.  She is incredibly resilient and enjoys playing games with other Princess Promise girls. When Aminata was referred to Princess Promise, she temporarily stayed at our Interim Care Center (Safe House), where she received intentional care and support until we where able to locate her family or another safe family option. After a couple of weeks at our Interim Care Center, our staff was able to make contact with her mother and bring the two together in a joyful reunion. Aminata and her family are now involved in our Family Care Program. We seek to provide appropriate resources to equip Aminata and her family with greater hope so they can move towards a future with greater opportunity.
